Miley has announced her 10th studio album, “Bass Persuades,” due September 18, along with two headline shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18.
The album will be her first release through Atlantic Records. Miley’s official store lists a 10-track sequence that begins with the title track and includes “Different Religion” featuring Model/Actriz, “Let’s Get Married,” “Orbit,” “Aftermath,” “REDLIGHTS,” “Neon Signs” featuring Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow, “Innocent Ways,” “Snow” and “Bass Persuades Remixx.”
The announcement also marks a branding shift: current promotional material is billing her simply as “Miley.” Pitchfork and NME both reported the change alongside the album announcement.
“Bass Persuades” follows 2025’s “Something Beautiful” and arrives during a period in which Miley has continued moving between pop, rock, country and soundtrack work rather than settling into a single genre identity.
Her official store confirms multiple physical editions, including black vinyl, a limited ruby store-exclusive pressing, CD and cassette formats. Apple Music and Spotify also list the September 18 release date.
People reports that Model/Actriz will appear as special guest at the Hollywood Bowl shows.
The announcement arrives only days after the death of Miley’s godmother Dolly Parton, whom she honored publicly following Parton’s passing on August 25.
For 45Audio, the most notable part of the announcement is how quickly this new era is moving: the album arrives less than three weeks after the reveal, with two major live dates following in October.
No official album-era YouTube video was included because a stable official video tied specifically to the announcement was not independently verified at packaging time.
